Co-Owners Tammie Watson and Joyce Parlapiano have embarked upon their second restaurant venture with Blackthorne Publick House. With several decades of restaurant experience and passion, Tammie and Joyce want to honor the history and tradition of the Blackthorne. By focusing on providing a comfortable neighborhood restaurant with delicious food, outstanding craft beers and phenomenal live music, we want the Blackthorne to be the everyone’s home away from home.
With her hands-on management style, Tammie is the force behind the company’s culinary success. Taking full responsibility for menu development of the restaurant and catering business, Tammie will continue the tradition of providing a fresh, innovative and delicious menu. Before coming to Boston, Tammie has had a successful career as an Executive Chef in cities ranging from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Providence, Rhode Island.
Having over 30 years in the restaurant business as a manager and owner, Joyce will use her expertise to bring the art and music scene back to the Blackthorne Publick House. A friend of The Arts, a successful realtor, gallery owner and Pastry Chef, Joyce will be instrumental in helping support local art with our rotating shows and booking only the best live music the area has to offer.
We look forward to seeing you here!
